2022-23 PA State Budget Recap

We are pleased to share that our collective advocacy yielded some major investments for early care and education that prioritize children and families AND the professionals and programs that serve them!

Due to our work together, high-quality pre-k line items will receive $79 million in new funding to serve more children and boost provider rates and $90 million in one-time federal funds will support a new child care stabilization program to retain and recruit professionals in the sector. There were also additional child care investments and increases for Early Intervention and evidence-based home visiting.
